Who is a Paradiser?
Paradiser
/ˈperəˌdīsər/
(noun.)
“A pawsome pal who is a part and heart of the Pet Paradise family” ♥
What types of pets do you accommodate?
At Pet Paradise, we welcome both dogs and cats. Our accommodations are designed to cater to the needs of all our furry friends.
Can I tour the facility?
Absolutely! We encourage all first-time guests to take a tour of our beautiful and spacious facility. We also offer virtual tours from the comfort of your home.
To ensure you get the most out of your visit, we recommend scheduling a tour outside of our busiest times:
- Mornings: 6:30 am – 9:30 am

Scheduling during these less busy times allows our team to give you their undivided attention and answer any questions you may have.
While appointments are not required on weekdays, we are happy to schedule a time that works best for you. Simply let us know your preferred date and time, and we’ll confirm your visit.
We look forward to welcoming you and showing you everything our facility has to offer!
What is the First Day Assessment (FDA)? And why is it important?
First Day Assessment is a crucial step ensuring safe and enjoyable experience for all the guests and our team! This assessment is a structured observation and interaction designed to evaluate our new guest’s temperament, behaviour and social skills in supervised playful environment. Here we learn and understand your furry-friend and we introduce slowly other guests in our facility, one paw at a time. This will help us to evaluate the most suited play group on his or her size, temperament, and play-style. During this process, we will be monitoring for fear or aggressive behaviour, destructiveness, excessive shyness, severe separation anxiety or excessive mounting.
NOTE: ALL DOGS AND CATS MUST COMPLETE FDA BEFORE ENTERING OUR PLAY GROUP FOR DAYCARE AND BOARDING; SAEFTY OF OUR GUESTS AND TEAM IS OUR TOP MOST PRIORITY!
What if my pet is not a right fit based on First Day Assessment (FDA)?
Here, at Pet Paradise, finding the right fit for our furry friend is very important! If your dog does not enjoy the company of other dogs or tends to be nervous, shy, or reactive around other dogs or strangers, they might not be the best fit for our open-play daycare environment.
That being said, many of these behaviors can be temporary or manageable! We’re committed to working with you and your pet to find solutions that ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. We might suggest additional introductory visits for your pup to gradually acclimate to our environment and build positive associations with our staff and other paradisers. If your pet doesn’t seem to be adjusting well to our daycare, we’ll happily discuss alternative options, such as private playtime or individual walks, to ensure they still get plenty of exercise and attention.
We’re always here to help you find the best fit for your furry friend’s unique needs.
